Invitation to Participate in Graduate Student Survey about Barriers
that Limit Job Opportunities for Newly Graduated SLPs in Health-Care
Settings
Dear (Head/Director of Speech-Language Pathology Department or SLP
involved in hiring),
My name is Christine Kirchner and I am a graduate student in
speech-language pathology at Kean University in New Jersey. I am
conducting research to investigate barriers that limit job
opportunities for newly graduated speech-language pathologists
(SLPs) in health-care settings.
I am seeking participation from SLPs who work in health-care
settings and hire SLP employees. Participants will complete an
online survey at no cost. All responses will be kept anonymous and
confidential. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to
complete.
I would greatly appreciate your participation in my survey. Please
contact me, the principal investigator, or faculty supervisor (see
below) if you have any questions.
