What are the Continuing Education requirements for Licensure/Certification Renewal in New Hampshire?

  1. Speech language pathologists: 30 hours of continuing education every two years.
  2. Audiologists: 20 hours per biennial renewal cycle
  3. New Hampshire SLAs must have 12 hours of continuing education every two years.

For Speech Language Assistants and their Supervisors: Certification

Speech Language Assistants are Certified through the state of NH. In order to be licensed, one must complete and pass a standardized examination in a specific subject area. As there is currently no such test for SLAs, they are considered ‘certified’, not licensed.
